~thankful thursday~ bedraggled we begin

I’m not doing great, and I didn’t have to pretend I was. I could just stand there like a bedraggled flower and absorb some light, nothing required of me. . . . → Read More: ~thankful thursday~ bedraggled we begin

~thankful thursday~ fall crops and late bloomers

Today I participated in another of my favorite mindfulness practices, one concerning impermanence, like sand painting but with squashes, already scattered and but a memory. a quaint little rainbow slice of life…

rainbow: even now, some rainbow flowers are still adorning my windowsill, though the last of the dahlias are finally succumbing to frost. (these were from a few weeks ago.)

red: this one is slightly anachronistic as well, from early september, the end of melon season. found . . . → Read More: ~rainbow mondays~ droplets of moonlight
