What a treat! We saw a lot of praying mantises this summer, but it just got cold quick 'round these parts.
actually, i fibbed, and this photo is not from this week, but several weeks ago… stuck in a film cartridge for a while, but i just got my hands on it yesterday and had to share. 🙂 oh, and we don't see a lot of them , so this was a treat indeed!
you say film cartridge…are you using old school film?if so,cool!Love this!
yes i am… a lot of my pictures are phone digital photos, and then there are the ones like this, from the old school 35mm. it's not on principle that i haven't upgraded, in fact, i'd love to upgrade so i can shoot more pictures and not have to conserve expensive film developing dollars… but i will probably always still use film to some extent.
I think praying mantises are fascinating too. They're such awesome, alien-looking creatures. If they were much bigger they'd be terrifying.
