after over 2 weeks of no rain, i put some seeds and starts into the newly dug bed just in time for a good soaking. i’m hoping for a bumper crop of cilantro, i saved a lot of seed last year and put most of it in just now, gambling on this good soaking to get it going.
it’s refreshing to see everything all wet and vibrant again. we’ll be eating radishes soon.
does anyone know this shrub? it has a zillion bees in it. that makes me happy, as it is right alongside the garden.
that’s it for this week. resting up while it rains for the next big transplanting push. how’s life around your farm?
What a beautiful tribute to your cat. I am sorry for your loss. You are such a great mom for understanding age 5. Kids are pretty great.
