red: the nearly-winter angle of the afternoon sunlight drew me outside with my camera, and revealed quite a few treasures i wouldn’t have otherwise seen, like this baseball buried in the hedge, the ghost of summer past.
orange: now that our stay at the vacation house has turned into half a year, i’ve started to learn the habits of the local critters, like this flicker who hangs out in a certain tree by the driveway each day. (it was windy so his orange bloomers are showing!)
yellow: the aforementioned hedge has an evergreen feel to it, but here and there a leaf or two has turned completely yellow.
green: doorway to adventure
green: even an invasive species looks merry right around this time of year.
blue: there is less blue in the sky, and more hail and rain, but there are moments where the blustery wind dies down and a little blue reveals itself like a reminder, “i’m still here.”
a splash of color on monday morning
a photo study documenting the colors of the spectrum: the balance points between light reflected and light absorbed
A vacation house wintery rainbow! Hope the new house is soon on the horizon. Heck we might be moving at the same time!!
